Help identify these bumper stickers.

I live in somewhat of a “Hippy town” The few hippies who own cars plaster them with bumper stickers… there are two that I don’t understand… what do they mean?

1st one: Something like “Only the fry potato is salting”
2nd: “I was DEAD once, and I didn’t like it”

They both sound religious to me.

“Potato is salting” - Gomorrah reference? Salt and light?

Dead once: Commtting sin : death :: Forgiven : brought back to life?

I’m not religious, I’m just getting that vibe.

“I was dead once” is a Christian thing; there’s fine print at the bottom of these stickers: “I was spiritually dead and doomed by my sins, but God gave me life through Christ.” There’s also a reference to Ephesians.

The “fry potato” thing looks like a bad translation – maybe from one of those “Engrish” sites.
