I am looking for some help with the name of this old Mac/apple game.
Me and a good friends used to play it on the Lab computers at college in the early 90’s, back when Mac’s had B&W monitors.
The premise of the game was that you were the owner of a space capsule on the moon, you capsule had a thrust at the bottom, and you could rotate it, so you would fly from one city to another…At each city you would/could buy commodities to sell at other cities for a profit. While traveling from one city to the other you could salvage old space capsules. you also had other ships firing at you, and you could get weapons as well. The end of the game came if you could find he 5 or 6 I.C.E. things (control crytals??)
Can anyone help me whith the name of this game
Straight Dope boards (Cafe Society) have helped me find out the names of lots of old books and movies, can the Game Room help me out??
Sneakers opened up IIRC with a giant very very low res (it looked like a big green penis) coming down from the top of the screen and depositing your rocket ship at the bottom of the screen.
Does that sound familiar?
Yes that does, but when you look up “Sneakers” it sends you to a “Space invaders” type shooter game released in 1981. It is obviously not that. The “big green penis” oddly enough sounds familiar. I think it was called “sneakers” becasue you were a smuggler, sneaking past the , maybe computer controled defence systems, until you could fix the system…The more I talk about it the more that comes back. Can Anyone find a mod of it for maybe a screen shot?
