To further reinforce my find, this thread talks of it, post #13 mentions Jason is also known as Jase, and there’s a link in post #3 that is now dead, but has “/~jchong/” in the URL. Jason appears to be from Australia.

You didn’t happen to send him a message on Facebook, asking him if he wrote it did you?
Because some sites like that will list whoever posts a file as the “author”.
