I’m trying to find the artist and title for a music video I saw on MTV in the early to mid 90s. I don’t remember anything about the song itself, just details from the video. In it, I think three children(?) were shown progressing with various things. One of them was a boy who was first shown doing something on a computer, and throughout the video he got more and more involved with the computer until finally he is shown in bed physically connected to it with lots of tubes and wires attached to a mask on his face and on his hands/body. I think it was some sort of alternative rock song. I think I remember watching it right before Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants” came on in the same program, to give a better idea of the time. Any ideas?
I’m trying to help, because I love 90s alt rock and sleuthing, but I need a tad bit more to go on. Do any lyrics stand out at all? Something repeated in the chorus, maybe? That Ace of Base song came out in 1992. Do you think your video came out the same year, or did it come out later?
