Yes, you are correct that it was a woman that I witnessed. Not to put to fine a point on it, but unless she has poor bladder control I don’t think she was faking. 
I have to agree with Chronos that if a man can dream himself to orgasm, (nothing like waking up with sticky sheets) there is no reason he couldn’t get that mentally excited in a non-sleep situation. I just haven’t personally seen it.
