Help me choose a name for tech startup documentary project

So my friend is working on a project whereby he and another person will travel through South America for about 6 months and create a webisode series documenting the tech start up scene and culture. I’m a kinda creative consultant for the project and so myself and a few others have been bouncing around names for the project. Now we’re at the point where we must make a decision but I think it would be helpful to get some opinions from people on the outside of our circle.

The project will focus a great deal on my friend as the center (as opposed to a traditional documentary). It’s more like “friend’s crazy, fun adventures through the SA startup scene”. And the intended audience is the global tech start up and geek culture. Think low budget, couple of guys in a Range Rover with some video equipment flopping around exploring…

Please feel free to mention any other suggestions…

(Hoping a mod can edit this to be a poll, and remove my subject edit asking for the thread to be deleted).

I’d vote for StartUpSessed, but they all sound a little dorky. It’s a journey in South America, and that sounds more exciting. It seems like the project name should at least have some Spanish (or Portuguese, if they’re in Brazil).

If your friend is the centerpiece of this documentary, then **Vieja **(journey).

If the technical aspect of startups is more important, then **Técnica **(technique).

If it’s more about the struggle of startups to get their services off the ground, then **Empezar **(start).

I’ve added the poll for you. It might have been easier (and quicker) to just remake it, however, and I’d have closed this one.

Start Me Up

Geekspedition diaries. But I agree there should be some Spanish or Portuguese in ther somewhere, I just don’t know any.

Tech/Sud
Tek/Sud
Tex/Sud

I tried that!! grrr… (I just kept getting the message “this post is a duplicate of a thread you just posted” or something.

I see you mention “start up” quite a few times.
I had to google it to understand what it means.

So… simply…

“Start Up”

Start Up South America SUSA

Start Trek?

Once Upon a Trek?

Just catching up now, finally. Thanks for the responses. Everything has been so rushed the last couple of days that I think my friend has settled on Start Up Diaries (he draws an association with the film The Motorcycle Diaries. Of course The _____ Diaries is a popular convention long predating the film, but he likes the name regardless).

I would have liked some more time because I think we can do better, but I think he’s eager to move on to the next step, and I think the name works well enough.
