Ok, I’ve had a few people send me videos, but I think part of the problem is that people can’t come up with stories. So I’m going to make a list of stories to use as suggestions for this video of “tall tale rumors” about how Dan and I met that I’m putting together for my wedding reception. I’m going to take my camcorder to school next week and try to get some people to tell them, but if anyone here wants to take one and do a video that would be REALLY AWESOME. Anyway, here are two I’ve come up with so far. Help me write some more? They need to be outlandish but plausible, should be funny, and short.
“The way I heard they met was they were both at Six Flaggs waiting in line for the Batman ride, and it was really hot and Katherine fainted, and Dan was behind her in line and caught her. They started talking, and ended up exchanging numbers, and then, you know…it just happened.”
“I thought I heard that they were the only two survivors of a plane crash that went down off the coast of Greenland, or something? And they were rescued by the Coast Guard after spending a couple days stranded on an iceberg together, and by that time they’d sort of bonded…”
So, can any of you couch comedians come up with some great material?
