Is Trudeau lying, or does he actually believe what he says?
I think part of his appeal is that some of his pitch sounds plausible. For example, the contention that the drug companies don’t want you to be healthy because then they wouldn’t sell any drugs and would lose money.
That actually makes sense. Also, the contention that the food companies are putting additives in food to make you addicted because they want to sell more food would also make sense (I’m not saying it’s true, mind you).
The pharmaceutical industry and the food industry are both HUGE money makers, and so it sounds entirely plausible that they are doing everything they can to make money off of us, and possibly paying off the governmental agencies to go along with their agenda. Also, if there ARE simple, natural cures for diseases that anyone could obtain cheaply, that would negatively affect the artificial pharma market in a huge way.
I’m not saying it’s true, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was. I think that’s a big part of the reason that people buy into him.

Well, he has all these readymade anecdotes about meeting a guy who has had crippling arthritis for 50 years, then one tip from KT and a week later he’s ripping phone books with his hands. I suppose if these are somehow true, he would believe his own BS, but since these stories are almost assuredly false, I would think he is knowingly scamming people. But hey, I’m sure there are people with illnesses that are in their head who are “cured” after they read his book, and that’s good for his ruse to have actual people fooled into thinking he helped them.
Plus, before this current schtick he does, he paid a huge fine for making claims proven to be false when he peddled the mega memory system.
Actually, I’d be willing to bet that he believes the crap he spews. The most effective con-artists believe what they’re saying is true.
I’d take that bet; Trudeau isn’t just some snake oil salesman who drinks his own snake oil, he’s a career con artist who’s moved from scam to scam as they dry up. His lies are far too calculated (and too broad - I mean, he claims to have sat in on a worldwide conspiracy meeting) to be just himself convinced of a single con. He’s a very skilled liar.
If it helps, some claims (I’m quoting from memory) that he’s made that are false:
When hawking the Atkins Diet:
“You can eat anything you want, as much as you want, and still lose weight.” Patently FALSE. Read a book on the AD by Robert Atkins, and you’ll see why (in the Induction phase, the only foods you can eat in unlimited quantities are red meat and eggs. Everything else is limited. There are ALWAYS limits to a diet, even Atkins. Trudeau is a lying shitbag).
When hawking his “Natural Cures” books, he said:
“For a THOUSAND years, it was believed that bacteria couldn’t live in the stomach.” Now, according to (presumably) the government who wants to censor natural cures for common diseases :rolleyes: :dubious: , I was taught that the first person to discover bacteria (as well as other microorganisms) was Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, who lived from 1632-1723.
So ask your grandfather how we’ve had beliefs about bacteria for nearly 700 years before we discovered them?
When hawking his second natural “cures” book (you should notice that the quotes in his title are around the word CURES, as if they aren’t really, but he’s calling them that):
“This book contains the PREVIOUSLY CENSORED brand name products that were CENSORED from the first book by the US Government.”
So…why didn’t they censor them from the second book, too? Is he seriously claiming that he slipped one under everyone’s radar?

THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS FALSE, HOWEVER.
It DOES mean, however, that everything he says should be HIGHLY SUSPECT.
