They’re probably right out in the open, right under your nose and you’re just brain farting and overlooking them. At least, that’s how such things usually end for me. I joke that my blind spot is “right under my nose” because of several instances where that happened.

Oh, and before somebody links to this thread, they are prodigal…the must’ve stolen my credit card, because there’s no other way I could’ve spent so much money over the summer.

forgive me for asking, but have you cleaned your room since July? they could be under other things you’ve thrown on the floor
and by the way, are you absolutely sure your wore them home that night?

I’ve not only cleaned the room, but moved it next door to make a larger study space. And yes, I’m fairly sure I wore them home - no way I’d have been allowed on the bus or in a taxi otherwise!

I’d bet good hard $$US that any cabbie’d let you in pantsless, if you still had your wallet w/ you.

Now, when I say pants, I mean in the American sense of long pants, not the UK sense of knickers. I’ve been let into cabs w/o knickers on, but the driver was unawares… :eek:
