My usual Sunday morning routine is cleaning up around the house while listening to Weekend Edition on NPR. This morning there was a technical problem with that station so I switched to the local rock station. They were playing a syndicated show called Racing Rocks. Auto racing news and rock. The host is Riki Ractman, the guy from Headbanger’s Ball, on MTV, back in the day.
So, they played War Pigs by Sabbath, which I of course recognized. The song I’m looking for played next. It sounded current, heavy guitar rock, and the only lyric I remember is toward the end a long repeated “(something, something) on to the next one”.
There was a lyric towards the beginning that sounded like “I never (something, something) 'til I saw your ghost”
I tried googling for a playlist but didn’t find one.
Anyone have clue what it was?
Is it “Ghost on the Dance Floor” by Blink 182?
Yeah, that’s my first guess, too.
Google has gotten pretty good with lyrics searching, even from just a few keywords. Searching “lyrics saw your ghost” brings up the above Blink 182 song.
“Done, done, on to the next one”
Foo Fighters! Thanks all!
