I really need a job and have been applying to ads in the newspaper. I can only imagine how many other people are applying for the same job, the same way. I need my resume and cover letter to stand out and above the others submitted, but still be appropriate. I’ve posted my resume online and would appreciate anyone who takes the time to look it over and offer any suggestions for improvement. My Cover Page My Resume

      • It can’t be done, stick to one of the few standard forms.
      • Then don’t apply the same way: instead of applying to the ads posting the job you want, apply to all the companies posting an ad for any job, that might also have a position like what you’re looking for. Note: don’t apply to their ad, get their HR/personnel info off their website and apply that way.
