Well, theres this girl, we’ll call her Jill to protect the innocent. And theres me- err Jack. Well heres the little Diddy:

About 2 months ago, I met the worlds most fantastic girl in the hallways are school. We made the spark almost instantly. Both of us have our likes and dislikes, and they’re nearly similar. Well she ended up liking me and I liked her, but I didn’t know any of her friends so nobody told me that she liked me. Our phone calls lasted till 3 in the morning on school nights, but once again, being the blind fool I am I never realized that she liked me. So time goes on, I still like her. Then about 3 weeks ago, she started to like my friends brother (who I’m cool with and all) but all he’d do is be a real cocktease towards any girl that he could see. So last week while we’re chatting she announces how she’s over uhh Romeo. So she’s out in the open, going on vaccation till Sunday tomorrow, so I can’t really talk to her. I just sent her an email asking her if I’m wasting my time liking her (which I think I’m not) but she’s the most amazing girl I’ve met. WHAT DO I DO? :frowning: Everyone will tell me: Get over her, but I’ve been there and it’s like jumping to the moon: impossible!

I don’t see anything in your post that says to me that you should get over her - at least, not unless you get a bad response to your e-mail. It doesn’t sound to me like that is going to happen.

Ask her out.

Ask her out. Tell her how much you like her, and that you’d like to see her often. If it works out, then that’s great. It’s what you wanted.

If not, you’re going to be disappointed and hurt. But better to know and get the disappointment and hurt over quickly. Pining away for a long time will only make the ultimate fall that much worse.

Ask her for a kiss.

If she just wants to be friends she’ll give you a kiss on the cheek and a friendly hug, and probably tell you she just wants to be friends.

If you get a hot kiss on the lips you’re probably in pretty good shape. If she blushes or looks demure that’s a good sign too. If she smiles while doing this you probably need to kiss her quick.

If she screams, laughs or runs away… Well, you’ll probaly be able to figure out what that means.
