Help me name my new iPad

So, I have a new iPad arriving tomorrow and I’m quite excited about it. My wife and I often give names to inanimate objects that we spend a lot of time with like computers, our car, etc… Example: Our car is a 2002 Malibu named Stacy. Malibu Stacy).

So now that we have this new bundle of joy coming into our life, it’s time to come up with a name and I’m stumped at coming up w/ anything clever (“Paddy” was the best I could come up with so far… I know, too easy.)

So, since the Dope loves nothing better than a thread full of corny puns… I thought I’d ask for suggestions. I’m especially keen on names of celebrities that have been tweaked to include the word “Pad.” Have at it!

A jokey one that I’ve heard applied to iPhones is to call it “The Titanic” - so you can sync it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oooh - I have the same problem, but for my Kindle. Anyone have any clever Kindle names? Kindlicious is out as someone’s got a blog with that name.

Name your new iPad Max.

There are no other acceptable names, it’s just too perfect.

Just make sure you always refer to it by it’s full name, Max IPad.

I just named my Kindle “Kindling.”

I know, not very clever.

I call my iPhone R2 Unit, but it’s not really that clever.

I’m also a big fan of Thai (clever!) and Maxi.

No no, not Maxi. Just Max. Don’t need any redundant Is.

I still maintain it’s the best choice. Though I like Lil also.

I often refer to mine as The Preciousssss (said in a Gollumvoice)
