Me and a friend are about to put together a sketch comedy/improv stage show. We are trying to come up with a title, maybe you can help . . .
The concept is a spoofe on reality game-shows, and we are going to have video clips, confessionals, eliminations, immunity idols, and the whole works. We will play improv games and then vote each other off after each game. The final two go head to head in an intense improv battle for the big prize.
We want to name it a play on the names of real reality shows. Along the lines of “Survival: Temptation Boot Camp, in The Real World, Cruise”
Any idea’s? Along the same lines what would be a funny prize? A chance to marry a billionaire’s accountant?
I’d go with something simple like “Reality!”, but I’m not if that would convey the immediate message that you’d want it to.
For the prize, I’d go with something to the effect of being put in some kind of witness protection program, where your life - your REAL life - gets erased for you…since you screwed your life up by being on the show.
Burtella and Jeff try to figure out who is the homosexual member of the group (little do they know that they are the only heterosexuals on the show).
Nate hunts for exotic wildlife suitable for the group to eat. He is ecstatic when he finds a Chinese place downtown.
Dawn, the animal activist/vegan/really-bitchy-female, screams and runs out of the house when she sees a spider, but gets vicious with Carl when he doesn’t employ humane methods to capture the arachnid.
Johnny Willy Billy Joe Jim Bob, the hick Southerner, creates a family tree to fight boredom. He is unsuccessful after completing it in five minutes by drawing a straight vertical line.
Who will go home with the grand prize: a George Foreman Grillin’ Machine and a cameo in the next Jay & Silent Bob movie? Watch Please Don’t Vote Me Off and find out!!
