Help me remember this movie

There was a movie (I think it was a movie) that had a part where the main characters landed a plane (or spacecraft) in the middle of Africa (or some Africa-like place), and the natives all came out of the surrounding area to dismantle the craft. There were tons of them walking down the road carrying parts small and large. IIRC the group of characters was running from someone and having their craft dismantled helped them against the bad guys.

Does this sound familar to anyone?

I was reminded of it because a friend was telling me about a story he saw on 60 Minutes where they intentionally ground outdated ships in Bangladesh and people are paid $1 a day to dismantle these huge ships by hand.

Lord of War? There, it was a plane owned by the arms-running protagonist. I don’t remember if it was a “help” to him or not.

Yep, that was it, I remembered it out of the blue a few minutes ago. IIRC they were smuggling guns and were being pursued. They landed the plane on the road and let the locals carry all the guns off so there wouldn’t be any evidence to convict them. That was a memorable scene.
