“Monkey Business” by Skid Row. It definitely rocks, and I don’t think it goes super high.
“Hang On St. Christopher” by Tom Waits, though it was later covered by the Bullet Boys. Very cool lyrics, and very visual if I remember correctly. (Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.)
If you like Megadeth, there’s “Peace Sells, but Who’s Buying,” though Dave Mustaine seems to speak the lyrics more than sing them.
