Can anyone help me translate “The only way” into English? I’ve come up with ‘solus via’ but other online translators are giving me different versions of the same. The catch is that it has to be engraved on wedding rings - so it has to be correct, and not actually mean “you have my cat stuck in your teeth” or “your hairy vagina could do with a trim”.

It should be “via sola”, but you may want to wait for confirmation from someone who’s studied Latin more recently.
That’s only correct if you’re referring to a road. Are you asking about ‘The only way’ as in road or path or as in ‘You must’? The latter would be ‘Necesse est…’ But my Latin’s very rusty.
