Googling like crazy … I STILL can’t find understandable instructions IN ENGLISH on how to get my new toy to work … the manual and all screens are in JAPANESE. I’ve had multiple English-language tamagotchis and never had this much trouble !!!

Anybody got one out there & know what to do with it? I can feed and take it to the john/“sweep up” … and that’s all.

Isn’t that all you do with them? I had no idea those were still around.
FWIW, it’s the first tamagotchi (that I know of) that has a COLOR DISPLAY! I can take it shopping (for food & toys, etc.), play two games (so far), but there’s still LOTS MORE that IT can do … I just can’t read the Japanese instructions and/or pictograms to figure out what-all else
