Shortly after the beginning of the new year my wife and I are going to open a bakery. We’re getting close to the point where we’re going to have to order a sign and we’re not sure what to name the business. So far, we’ve come up with “Bakery.” There seems to be room for improvement. Would anybody care to offer a suggestion?

Why not just Lastname’s Bakery? Or Firstname’s Bakery, whichever makes it sound and scan better. Cutesy names don’t have staying power.
If your name isn’t Charley, maybe you should change it, so you can call yourself Able Baker Charley.
