Help this European noob to download an US TV-show, safe and legal

I want to watch the last two episodes of Dollhouse season 1. Can anyone recommend me a safe, legal way to download those? I don’t know where to start, and a lot of the download sites on the web seem either illegal or shady.

I live in the Netherlands and have paypal and mastercard.

itunes

the last episode of season one “Omega” (not the unaired “Epitaph One”) is available for free if you download virtual echo - and may be if you don’t at fox.com

virtual echo is also free

also, both should be available for free on HULU.com - which is 100% legal.

Did you miss the Netherlands part of the OP?

I was not aware that Hulu was locality restrictive. - I guess I am now.

Have you looked in iTunes? I know there’s an iTunes NL, and I know Dollhouse Season 1 is in the iTunes store - but I only have access to the US store.

You’ll have to download iTunes to find out, tho.

I looked, and iTunes doesn’t sell TV shows in the Netherlands iTunes Store yet. Sorry.

Do you have access to the Virgin 1 TV channel? The whole series is being broadcast there.

Would using an anonymous IP work? and would it qualify as legal - he’s just trying to access free content.

That content isn’t free everywhere, that’s the problem.

If you have an American credit card, you can order off the US version of iTunes. But basically, I think you just have to wait until it is released there.

It’s free where it is available, it isn’t available everywhere. He’s trying to pay for it.

FWIW, Hulu has made efforts to prevent the use of anonymous IPs by international viewers. The article suggests that Hulu’s geographical restriction on viewing is due to licensing issues.

Per the OP’s question, sorry, I can’t help. I’m curious to know the answer, though.
