Help to find a poem by William Henry Drummond

When I was in elementary school back in the 50s The teacher read a poem to us about a shortstop in baseball. What I can best recall, the author using the exact pig French-English style of William Henry Drummond referred to the shortstop as the “shorteemstop” or something like that. The poem was absolutely hilarious.

I’m sure it was Drummond, but I can’t find it. Can anyone help?

I wonder if this might have been one of the baseball poems written in dialect by Chester J. Gruber, better known as radio personality “Tony Cabooch,” AKA “Poosh-em-up Tony.”
