I thought “In the Pit” was the answer. (With the exception of “In the case of YOUR parodies, PRR, shove them up where the sun don’t shine,” but we’re going to pretend there are no exceptions for the moment.) But I’ve opened a parody thread about comparing a great ballplayer to a very great ballplayer (to the very great ballplayer’s detriment) by comparing a great ballplayer to a mediocre ballplayer, and this has wound up in the Game Room rather than in the Pit. I don’t mind, but I would have put it there in the first place if I weren’t trying to follow the rule (?) about where parodies go. What’s the new rule?
I think that parodies go in the Pit when they’re clearly digging at a particular poster. You didn’t make any overt jabs at Charlie Noble, so it wasn’t quite up to Pit standards. I appreciated it, though - so you can hang your hat on that.
That was supposed to be a parody? Went clear over my head, I guess.
At any rate, parodies that are making fun of posters or other threads on the SDMB should go in the Pit. Other parodies can go in other forums, as appropriate to the subject matter.
I was wondering what the big deal was with pierogies.
