Parody threads should be made in the Pit. (see last post)

Since when? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a thread like that in the Pit. Who changed the rules?

What about threads that parody the rules?

Since 2002, at the latest. That was on the fourth page of google results and was the earliest thread I found specifically mentioning the rule, so it’s the best I’m going to be able to get. I don’t have the patience to find the thread about the rule’s creation.
