Help to identify this instrumental piece

Hi, I created a little mp3 file with a few seconds of a song that long ago I just to hear at the radio, in commercials of a department store. Because it’s entirely instrumental and there’s no other way to identify it than hearing it, I ask for your help in this strange way.

I hope the link works. If not, please tell me and please suggest another way to put it in the internet for you to access it:

the song I want to identify

Anyone knows the name and/or performer? I really need to find out, thanks in advance.

Sorry, but your link doesn’t work. At least it doesn’t work for me. Can you try again?

Yeah, the link didn’t work for me either…

Feel free to email it to the address in my profile and I’ll host it for you.

Ino: email with attachment sended. I’ll post the new link here when ready, and I really appreciate your help, very much. And all of you.

(lno, not Ino)

I don’t recognize the piece, unfortunately.

Well, thank you very much, Ino.

Now, anyone, please?

Can’t believe it! No one! Did I dreamed that tune? I hope not.

Just checking.

Song? Tune?

Sounds to me like someone testing out a keyboard. Just running a few chords in rhythm.

Sorry, I’m mexican and probably writing with mistakes…

I remember clearly the music I posted the link of, and here in my city no one could tell me where that piece comes from.

The only way I found to ask for help was making a midi file, turn it into a mp3 file and post it for people to hear it. Now, I’m sure that I didn’t dreamed it (I was just kiddin’), because some of my friends have heard it too but they doesn’t know it.

At least I’m a little original.

It reminds me a of the instrumental opening to “Riders on the Storm” by the Doors.

Then layer over that tune with the theme from the film Wait Until Dark with a side order of Twilight Zone.

Cannot anyone make a link to the first one?

The first one is the same track, I just made a mistake providing the link.

In the real track, the background instrument sounds like an electric piano. The main instrument is an echoed violin.

It’s not Riders on the Storm, nor Twilight Zone, I know those.

Btw, the tune sounds exactly like the mp3, with the logical difference of quality. My mp3 is not an approximation, I heard it on the radio by months.

Sory, but doesn’t ring a bell with me either. Because of the synthesizer-like sounds I am reminded of Mike Oldfield, but you say the original was with a violin. FTR: I’m surprised that the foreground melody would be played by a violin. I’m a violinist myself, and it sounds hard to play that, but maybe I’m not hearing the actual melodic line correct. In baroque music there were figures like that, but they sound different.

Would it be possible to post the midi-file; then I could try to change the melody line to a violin (or you could do that yourself). The synthesizer-like sound distracts me and maybe I would recognize it with a different patch assignment.
