I’m sorry to bring such a specific question to this forum, but I’ve looked all around and am having a very hard time working through this problem.
I’ve got a Coby MP815-8G media player. It would be ok for what it is, except for my complete inability to get it to organize music into useful folders on the device itself. The files in question are all mp3’s, have been ripped using both iTunes and Windows Media Player (tried both just in case), and are categorized fine in both. However, they are all in one generic list of songs once imported.
I’ve had no trouble putting the same music on several different iPods- so my guess is that the software on this Coby is less than stellar in the engineering department. HOWEVER, I’d be more than happy to find out it’s actually an ID 10 T error, in which case you’ll have my eternal gratitude.
