Fine little item. There is something that is driving me deeply bonkers and I am wondering if anyone has found a fix for it. If you look at the link provided, you will see the face of the cel phone. See the pretty hot air balloons? Gosh, they’re pretty. They’re also incredibly distracting, at least to me.
There are options for that opening screen image. Maybe 8 options Not one of them is “none” or “blank”. Anyone ever found a way to import an image into a cel phone like this one? If I can do that, I can import a white sheet of paper and be happy for it.
Thoughts? Aside from that, it’s a pretty decent phone so far for a used cel phone found on eBay.
Does it have a camera? Many of the camera phones will let you set a picture you take as the wallpaper. One photo of white (black?) wall and you’re set.
Or if you have no camera you can pay for a picture to be sent to your phone to be used as wallpaper. I paid £1.50 for a colour picture of Bobby Moore lifting the World Cup in '66
Who’s your service provider? Check if they have downloadable wallpapers. I’m sure there must be some very subtle design if not something completely blank.
I’m with Telus Mobilty here in Canada and I just downloaded the New York Islanders logo for my wallpaper. -Though I gotta say mittu’s photo sounds cool too! I wish I could get the FA crest myself.
Hi, just got back to this Good thoughts, all. I have to call Verizon and see if A) I can download wallpapers, B) What the costs are, and most importantly C) if I may UPLOAD any “wallpaper” I wish to to a Verizon server, then DL it.
Alternately , I can try to find the Data Cable for the phone. I need one anyway for backup of the phone book. Then, I can see about importing more wallpaper…like…blazingly BLANK WHITE wallpaper.
