Help with game show host

I could just be crazy, or I could be crazy and right. Help me know!

I think I remember a game show host from the 70s whose name was such that it either sounded like the first syllable of the last name belonged on the end of the first name, or vice versa. For some reason, I was thinking his name was Chuck Elee or Bob Elee, but I always heard “Bobby Lee” or something similar.

My brain is broken. I can’t find anything similar on Google or imdb, but I really don’t know what to look up at this point. Elee seems to be a dead end.

Did he have a square-jawed, matinee-idol, Tarzan type look about him? Probably Ron Ely from Face the Music.

I seriously was starting to think I was making the whole thing up.

I couldn’t remember anything about his looks, just that I always misheard his name, apparently as “Ronnie Lee.”

And someone in my family made fun of me, but now I can’t remember which one of them it was either!
