help with this song

I think it’s either Jim Croce or Harry Chapin (I get them mixed up often) and the only piece of lyric i can remember is

“. . . You’re only dancing on the earth for a short while. . .”

At least, I’m pretty sure that’s how it goes. Can anyone help the title and real artist?

A quick google search shows Cat Stevens’ “Oh Very Young.” Hope that helps.
