No, wait. I’m indoors. Sounds like it’s really coming down. There was a flash of lightning. I counted eight, so a couple of miles away. The thunder shook the house.
Another flash. Just under two seconds this time. Three seconds of thunder, and again the house shook.
And suddenly… Quiet.
Isn’t weather fun? 
It was Thundering earlier today and hailing a bit, but it is quiet now (in Tacoma).
Yeah it’s like that up here on Vancouver Island as well. I hope this means we aren’t going to have a repeat of last years fall/winter where we had 6 months of rain or snow. Last year we had snow on the ground for 3 months straight! I’m used to winters with little or no snow at all. And it rained so much that life long west coasters were even complaining about it.
I don’t think we will. I bought a pair of cross-country skis specifically so that I could get out and about if we get another snow like last year’s. Therefore, we won’t.
