The code, by the way, is either TP35 or TB35.
So, if her brain is connected to the internet and Ted isn’t connected to the internet…
I’m overthinking this, aren’t I?
As much as I enjoy this show, I do have a problem. I don’t car about any of these characters. The story is interesting and fun, but they could pretty much kill any one of these people - except perhaps for Hiro and Ando - and it wouldn’t matter to me at all. Maybe I’ll exempt Micah too because I don’t like seeing bad things happen to little kids. But that’s about it.
My mistake. I went back and watched it yesterday, and it says:
“Text apply to 46622”
I’m assuming this is for text messaging rather than the website. I have enough spam going to my email from things like this - I’m not going to give out my cellphone number and then have to pay for every text message I receive.
Heck with that–bear in mind that the bodies she told them how to find had been dismembered… I’d be more worried that she was going to tear my arm off and beat me to death with it. I’d have a taser out and ready to fire if I was in the same room with her, and I’d have three or four buddies with me. And taking the cuffs off her while she’s talking to her lawyer? I’m sure there are some human rights issues which says she’s entitled to that, but her lawyer was clearly not happy with that idea, and wouldn’t have minded if she had been encased from the neck down in cement…
We have a Mandate.
Otto, I love “Dr. Where,” and I have not seen it at TWoP.
Whoa, sorry, dude, I don’t swing that way! (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)
I think she communicated directly to his computer using it’s WiFi connection. She didn’t need it to be connected to anything else. I might be overthinking it too. Since this is from a future episode I’ll just assume at this point that more will be revealed.
I can’t argue with that.
Did you see the episode where she seduced the flying man? Hawt!
Also, I was confused - the invisible guy and the radioactive guy looked too much alike. They’re different guys?
They don’t look at all similar to me. The invisible man is older, with gray in his (short) hair and a well-trimmed beard.
Exploding Ted is a young man, with shaggy, wild, Mansonic (Charles, not Marilyn) hair and beard, which are dark brown with no gray.
Did you hear that gasp? That was all the geeks reading this and clutching their chests. Invisible guy is Doctor Who . Radioactive guy is not. A lot of us were excited to hear that Christopher Eccleston was joining the cast. I have no trouble with seeing the difference.
My first reaction was “NO TOUCHING”!
I agree, but in fairness they didn’t give us a good look at Dr. Where. I already knew Eccleston was supposed to show up, but when he did I wasn’t absolutely sure that was him until he said “you can see me?” and I got a better look at his face.
I think once we “see” more him the difference will be much uh, clearer.
They looked similar enough to me during the flashes forward, probably because it was so quick, but once Doctor Where was properly introduced I was able to tell them apart.
In short (and on preview), I agree with lev.
::spit take::
[sub]Finally a cross-show reference that I get[/sub]
So after doing some thinking about Peter’s “adoptive” powers - has it been established that he can borrow more than one? (Speculation to follow, so no spoilers): if he realizes he has the radioactive power and it’s his fault, yadda yadda - and he then sees his brother standing next to him, why doesn’t he just fly straight up as fast as he can and detonate himself in space or something?
He has not to date exhibited more than one power at a time.
Because if he did that it wouldn’t allow for my predicted payoff, which involves Nathan “I’m no hero, all I can do is fly” Petrelli to fly the actual bomb guy out of Peter’s range, thus sacrificing himself and proving himself to be a hero after all.
Both those theories fit with what Nathan is saying in the dream.
If he takes Niki along with him for good measure, he’d definitely be a hero.
Question from someone who watched all 11 episodes in about 3 days before the second half of the season started: Does Sylar have super healing? He got up pretty fast after telepatic cop pumped a few bullets into him, but he was pretty messed up after his failed attempt on Claire and at the end of the last episode he looked pretty bad once again.
