The guys on this show and their five o’clock shadows that look like they come in at about 10:30am- I can’t imagine how they can keep the continuity on that straight for filming. They sure don’t send everyone back to makeup for a shave after lunch.
One thing I think was a goof though-Sylar’s watch-wasn’t it smashed in the ‘kill Charlie’ episode in S1? It wasn’t this time. And Lauren’s sudden appearance- either she’s coming back in the here and now, or they want to imply Noah’s interested in Tracey because she looks like an old squeeze?
This was an episode that presented more questions than it answered. Is Sylar’s behaviour, and the past few years, affected by using his ability in a benevolent way with Charlie? Did it influence his “I want to help” instinct, that does pop up on occasion? Will history be altered so maybe there’s a dozen fewer dead people? I think that was the first time he thought to use his ability to help someone other than himself. It would be utterly cool for tiny changes to pop up from now on, and the viewer is left to wonder. Or bigger- Sylar never killed Bob, he’s still running Primatech and it never got blown up and shut down.
Hiro: how many jumps does he have left, and is brain damage always the result of frequent time travel-or did ole Arnold just die of old age and emphysema and Samuel’s lied to Hiro about it to aid in manipulating him (“your time’s running out, if you don’t do what I want soon, you’ll be dead and Charlie in limbo/caveman days with nothing but her order pad forever.”)
Mohinder- ??? Aside from why’d you kill him, Samuel, you killed him by shooting him full of gravel? Well, suppose that’s his thing. But why is that such a big honk’n deal that requires yanking the S/T continuum to get it fixed?
BTW, the comic on the website (which I don’t think is canon, but whatever) does say 1) where Charlie is and 2) why the carnies are so devoted to Samuel:
1) stuck in space somewhere with Arnold and 2) blackmail
