Cool! Thanks! (and thanks, too, tanstaafl!). Are there specific stores that sell DO or SO enhancements (and if so, would anyone part with that info ?) or do I just need to wait for them to drop ? Or will the regular stores start selling them when I level up enough ?
Yes, you can buy DOs (and later SOs) from stores. Go to www.vidiotmaps.com; they have maps of all the city sectors there showing where all the stores are located.

The best way to findout where the stores are is use the Map Patch. This thread on the COH boards has a link to the latest version, and instuctions on how to install. And it includes the trails in Perez Park, so you can stop getting lost there.

My thing for today has fallen through, so I should be on about the same time as yesterday (9:30 PM EST) to continue the Positron task force if people are going to continue.
We did much better last night after we started generally sticking together and not splitting up to get killed in separate locations. 
Amazingly, we finished the 2nd mission despite working through a room where FOUR foes were stuck in the walls and ceilings. Luckily it wasn’t a “kill every guard” type of mission.
I think we’re still shooting for Saturday, but I may pop by around then… never can tell how many of us might be on, though… I won’t be able to stay more than an hour, though… my migraine today has wiped my capacity for staring at a computer screen for long periods temporarily.
I’ll probably be on later tonight (10+) and can bring Deus X back in if we want to run the next bit of the TF. Otherwise I’ll hold off on him until Saturday and probaby do the Drone thing for a while.
Ugh. I think I’m not going to be on tonight… I’m beginning to suspect it was City of Heroes’ 60 Hz refresh rate that triggered my headache.
The 60Hz refresh rate is a problem. If you’re not up to installing software (MultiRes, google for a link to Entech Taiwan, software is free), then you can simply reset your monitor after launching CoH. Just open the desktop properties window before starting the game, then alt-tab to it once you’re at the character selection screen. Reset monitor refresh rate and you’re in business.
It makes a world of difference, not just in headache-inducement, but in apparent resolution of the screen.
I’m going to grab the software, I think, so I’ll have it for this Saturday.

Why does CoH bleep ‘God’ and ‘crap’? But not ‘Darn’, apparently…
I find the list of bleeped words to be pretty entertaining. I leave it on, and am almost disappointed when I find a word that gets around it.
“Nazi” gets bleeped, but “Nazis” does not, for example. “Crap” gets bleeped, “damn” does not. “God” but not “Jesus”. Or at least, I saw characters with Jesus in their name, including Robotic Jesus. He was offering to save the souls of the Clocks, I think.

Okay, next taskforce, let’s stick with weeknights for a couple of hours at a time. My wife did not appreciate being a computer game widow.
Yeah, I wish I could have made it but my wife and I are going out of town next week and she felt we needed to give the house a complete cleaning so the people who are going to be feeding our dogs while we’re gone won’t think we keep a messy house. (And how can you argue with logic like that.) The cries for justice from the people of Paragon City were drowned out by the sound of the vacuum cleaner.
At least I got on last night long enough to get Deus X the last few xp up to 16. I’ll run the TF again with another character sometime. But now it will probably be August before I can get back on.
You do know that you can turn the word filter off under options, don’t you?

Menocchio, hope to see you in Paragon City. Try to get on the Virtue server where most of us play. Check out our C.E.C.I.L. forum and (our not quite up to date because no tells me their level ;)) member list. Add some of the higher level characters (since they’re played more regularly) to your friends list, and give us a tell in-game.
