It’s episode #17. Period.
It was a great episode - enjoy!
Can we maybe change the thread title to the standard Heroes 2/26/07 “Company Man” (SPOILERS) please?
What happened to fE-mail from last week? Was it explained why she didn’t go with Ted and Matt to AED’s place?
Claire in her gawk phase!
Wow, the greatest secret of the entire series! The Origin of the Horn-Rimmed Glasses, Revealed!
That was a beautiful ending, even though having the dad ambiguously evil was fun. A true fatherly action…
EDIT: Of course they’re all gonna die from radiation poisoning, but whatever! I keep repeating “this is comic book logic” until that one small pain goes away.
Now he will think Hatian kidnapped Claire and be ultra pissed?
Holy mother of pearl. That is some GREAT storytelling right there. Awesome!
Wow…just…wow.
Hatian presumably wiped all his memories of Claire as well as The Company.
Great episode! Very suspenseful–I was just certain somebody was going to get killed and my money was on either Mrs. Bennet or Matt (Psycop), but it looks like everyone’s OK. Wait–did Mr. Muggles make it out of the house?!!
I concur. This was truly an excellent episode. Especially without the obnoxious Micah/DL/Niki story-line. I did miss Hiro, though.
Some predictions:
-
Parkman will start working for The Company. He’s always needed a place to belong and this is it. He also understands their motivations for keeping The People safe from dangerous mutants.
-
Mohinder is going to continue being a dolt.
-
There’s going to be a big bad Peter/Sylar showdown.
-
Mr. Muggles will die slowly from radiation poisoning. It’s OK, though. He deserves it.
Yes, Mr Muggles was in Mrs. Bennet’s arms outside the house.
fE-mail showed up as the lab assistant at the end didn’t she? or was that some other chick?
Did anybody recognize Linderman in the preview? I thought it looked a little like Donald Sutherland.
Great episode. The flashbacks answered a lot and raised a bunch more questions, just like any good comic book. And it’s not the penultimate episode. It’s the pre-ante-fore-yester-penultimate episode.
If the Haitian does that, HRG (I guess we can’t call him AED anymore) becomes useless. He probably just wipes out the last hour or so, along with any memories of setting up the plot to save Claire.
Awww, crap.
I didn’t want to like Claire.
I liked AED though. (Still do. Those glasses are hawt!)
Two weeks ago, I told Hubster if things didn’t start getting better, I was going to jump ship.
And tonight I kinda teared up at the end.
Figures.
Though all through the episode, I was wondering where gun-toting chick from last week was.
Indeed. I’m guessing this is the show’s way of killing him off. (Of course, he can come back when he meets a Hero who can restore previously erased memories!)
Malcolm McDowell
No, remember when Matt and agent Clea Duval first met Ted? They have anti-radiation pills.
What are you talking about? He was right there playing video games!
No anti-radiation pill for Mr. Muggles? Now I’m sad.
We may have to drop the A from AED after this. His E was only A because of Claire and now that she’s out of the picture his E will have no constraints.
Has it been determined whether Lyle is AED and SpongeBrain Claire’sMom’s biological child?
Hiro was there, playing with a Gameboy.
I think the Haitian is just going to erase AED’s memories of his letting Claire go. The cover story is probably going to be that AED got shot as Claire and the Haitian were trying to escape. Maybe even Claire herself shot him. Depending on how much the Haitian has to erase, my guess is that Ambiguously Evil Dad isn’t going to be so ambiguously evil anymore.
I dont remember pills, I remember badges that changed colors if levels got dangerous.
Not to my knowledge… and AED asked Haitian to go deep to remove all hints of the Claire plan… concievably not all that far.
Liked him thinking in Japanese to throw off Matt… and yeah, Matt will be a company man now, if for no other reason than to “help mutants from within”.
They blew alot of effects money on that scene… fantastic.
But… if RadioactiveMan is captured, and Peter hasnt found him yet, and Sylar doesnt find him (surely Him/Mohinder wont go waltzing into the paper factory headquarters to meet and greet) has the NewYork Nuke been averted?
We now know a bit more about DoctorWhere, but who was he protecting?
Was that Wireless at HQ? Why wasn’t she in the house with the other 2? Was taht all a setup to out Claire?
Who was the Haitian reffering to when he said he was answering to a higher up when it came to Claire?
Like seeing Zulu as part of the company, wonder what he would do if he found out about Hiro?
I, for one, am glad that they did not put Heros up against Galactica… that would be a tough fight, especially given bits of season 3 versus this… that rookies got the stuff!
