GAH! If a Giant’s fan doesn’t have it, it’s up to me to find it. I loves me a challenge.
I remember that game. It was Jerry Rice who fumbled and T.O. with the game winning catch.
Great game, despite the bad call.
My trust is in your hands here. Are you sure Rice was involved in that series? I would swear it it was Stokes and Owens teaming up for that travesty. Though it pissed me off so much I could be wrong, therefore giving you the benefit of the doubt.
I believe Nightime is right Duffer.
It was a fumble (Rice) that wasn’t called and we would have recovered it. Instead T.O. catches the winning score on that drive.
Dammit.
Yup, that’s the one. Though we did recover it. But what can a guy do about it now? Not a damn thing. But we did recover and won the game, no matter what the stats say.
OG SMASH! OG STOMP! STOMP SMASH!
Oh, how I hate having a memory that lasts more than 2 weeks!*
The 49ers are still paying for that ill-gotten win though. There were some major changes planned for that offseason, but beating the Packers made everyone forget how bad a team they were, and the shakedown didn’t happen. And now look where they ended up. Worst team in all of football.
Still hopping through some threads. I haven’t forgotten about the Snickers ad, I’ve e-mailed some that may have it. (Those that originally sent it) Hopefully I’ll have it by tomorrow (tonight) night.
It shouldn’t happen that way,and I hate making that prediction, but the Vikings have a habit of making average, or less than average quarterbacks look All-Pro.
Especially in games they need to win.
I would say Yes.
YES YES YES!!! Snoopy-on-crack dance Wheeee!!! Thanks Nightime!
Something to ponder concerning this weekends games.
The Packers are better off if they (the Pack) and the Vikings both loose than if both teams win.
What if both teams tight?
Diogenes, to put you in further misery, just read that Bonita Favre’s book (his mother) about Brett is #5 on the NYTimes bestsellers list.
I heard that MInn. wins the division if they tie too. So GB better win on xmas eve. WTF are they playing on xmas eve for anyway?? Isn’t that a friday night?? I’ll probably have to miss it too. rats.
The game is on in the afternoon. I’ve heard that churches in Minnesota and Wisconsin are pissed. The NFL goes out of their way to schedule a game on Christmas Eve, on a FRIDAY fer cryin’ out loud… that might deserve a pitting, but I don’t care enough to do it.
Enough about church, I mean.
I’m really close to opening another pit thread. But may as well keep NFC North stuff here.
Detroit fans. It’s 3:48 pm CST and I haven’t seen any rioting.
WHAT THE FUCK!!!
Come back to set up a tie to send the fucking game into OT, AND YOU FUCK UP THE PLACE SETTING FOR THE EXTRA POINT!!!
God almighty I want to pit your team, but I’m human and can’t include you all personally based on a fucked up place-holding for A FUCKING PAT!!!
Well, maybe I can. I just don’t know yet. It depends on whether you Motor City Kitty fans are more upset about that choke job, or if the Queens are more proud about pulling out a division win. Either way, you’re both losers.
What a fuck-up. Philly pulling one out of their ass to beat the Cowgirls by 5 is the only thing keeping me sane until the Pack finally put the Jags away.
Fucking Lions, you actually make me respect the Bears. That alone earns you boils on your asses that get infected and cause a slow painful death. Assholes!
Oh, cheer up. At least you’ve got your home town officials at Lamb field again, determined to give the game to the packers, AGAIN.
Besides, the Queens have giving the Kitties an early Xmas present. For at least a week, the Lions fans think they have a quarterback.
RAW, we do have a QB. I’m confident that Harrington will regain his confidence now and will do much, much better. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that kind of performance from a Detroit QB.
Of course, many Detroit fans will still want McMahon to start next week. Fucking inbred idiots.
I’m drained after that game.
Yup, all the calls are going in favor of the Pack.
Just to clear it up, my hometown is quite a few miles south of Green Bay and I’m currently more than a few miles west of you.
Here’s to a few Moss passes Friday afternoon!
