Hey! I found my keys! I thought you'd want to know...

For those of you who were breathlessly awaiting word, they have been found!

Oh, you wanna know where? I have a bunch of boxes in my living room now, filled with all my stuff that I’m sorting through to sell and store and use and so forth, and the keys had fallen down into the one that was right by the door where I generally drop my keys.

Not very interesting, just true.

Man, I am really going to enjoy having this chaos cleaned up and sorted out, for sure.

Speaking of which, when was the last time we did…whaddya call it when I send you some of my crap and someone else sends me some of theirs? Those are amusing.

I’m so relieved for you. Congratulations.

Was I right?

Good, I’m glad you found them. Not far (in a metaphorical sense) from where I found my keys the last time I lost them for weeks on end. Perhaps the only time I lost them for weeks (I had spare keys, which I used for the intravening weeks).

Actually, no, since I wasn’t “looking” for them, i was merely emptying the box as part of my cleanup.

But I get it.

cleaning and decluttering is my time honoured way of finding lost items. it always works and things look nicer for a bit.

white elephants are fun and amusing… did you need some stuff? 'cause i got stuff.

Of course it’s the last place you look, because after that you stop looking .

Took me eighteen months to find my phone down the back of the sofa in the sports clubhouse.

Now that we know where Stoid’s keys are, can someone help me find my cellphone? Yes, I took everything out of my purse. And I checked all my pockets. It’s not that I desperately NEED my phone, in fact, I rarely use it. But I’d hate to have it uncharged. It’s not hooked up to its charger, either, BTW.

Lynn, is it dead already or can you call the number and find it from the ring?

:smack::smack::smack::smack::smack::smack:

Yeah, I should do that.

I am really NOT used to having a cell phone, even though I’ve had it for over a year. It’s just not part of my lifestyle. My husband got it for me, because he worries that I will get hurt somehow when I’m out running around. And since there ARE no public pay phones any more, or at any rate, none that I see, it makes sense for me to have a cell. I’m just not a big fan.

It’s probably set to mute, as I hate being out and having the thing ring. But I’ll try calling it.

Were they where you last put them?

A handy site for lost cell phones: http://www.phonemyphone.com/. My room-mate uses it regularly.

I had my husband try to call my phone. It’s dead, the call went straight to voicemail. Drat it.
