Chips and nuts loaded along with some throw-away bowls. Figure to leave from work to Breezewood or so and then head in around 1-2ish; I believe that is/was the plan. Like many I am torn; it will be great to see folks but ---------- wish the reasoning was different.
Tell her to come along. Hell, I’m going to be there on crutches, she can keep me company on the couch!
Once again just saying that I’ll be there in spirit. I just can’t justify such a long trip at this time. I wish I could be there. I cared very much for norinew.
It just occurred to me to ask: any dietary restrictions? One thing I’m bringing has pork in it but if that’s an issue (as in “can’t be in the same house as…”) let me know.
I won’t be able to make it.
Please don’t forget my phone call to y’all on the day, please. We SO wish we could be there, and this is such a wonderful way to pay tribute to a beautiful person who graced us with her presence for too short a time.
It would mean a lot to me if I could do this.

Quasi, An email is headed your way
Bringing Bread, guacamole, onion and black olive relish, some spiced mayo sandwich dressing, and alfalfa sprouts. Makes a fairly hearty vegitarian sandwich. Very spartan on the serving implements, just mason jars, and the plastic the guacamole comes in. Should be there by 1PM.

I am very sad to report that I won’t be able to make it tomorrow. My regards to everyone. Norine was one of my most favorite posters, and one of the nicest people I have ever met IRL.
I’ll be picking up **gardentraveler **at the Metro at 1230 - I figure we should arrive within an hour of that, assuming no stupid traffic issues. In fact,as soon as I post this, I’ll be putting the directions in the car. I don’t need no steenkin’ GPS when I have a Mapquest printout!
And a navigator, of course.
I’ve got brownies and cookies and have figured out - I think - how much lead time I need to meet up with FCM. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
