Well, given the hideous complexity of my current life, I am unlikely to be able to make homemade pulled chicken barbeque or coleslaw within a reasonably short time before hand. Rather than risk salmonella, or such, I am going to have to buy something. I am sorry. Multigrain bread rounds and a suitable sandwich substance would be fairly easy to come by. I can bring alfalfa sprouts, too. (I actually grow my own.) (Wholey Guacamole?)

That’s fine my friend, if y’all don’t need it, then that’s fine. I just feel so helpless because I can’t be there to honor this wonderful woman and I wanted to particpate in any small way I could.

Bump ------ as we’re getting into the home stretch. Plans are made and bags are packed; repacked actually since we were at Knoebels this weekend. Her Ladyship found some bookstore nearby she wants to check out so I’m free for the day.
**gardentraveler **and I are working out our details for Saturday - I may be playing tour guide for her that morning before we head to the fest. So far, nice weather still seems to be holding. Fingers crossed!!!
