Something similar happened in Canada in response to socialist communist single-payer health care. When single-payer was first enacted in Saskatchewan, the AMA (yes, the American Medical Association, which for some reason took a strange interest in these developments) predicted that all the doctors would leave the province. When the doctors failed to leave for some reason, and the rest of the country eventually adopted single-payer everywhere, the AMA predicted that all the doctors would leave Canada and go to the US.
I don’t know if they did, but both my primary care physician and my cardiologist are American expats educated in American medical schools who apparently saw fit to move from the US to Canada. I can only assume they are Marxists who came here for the communist ideology, or perhaps they are international spies. Yet my young family doctor seems extraordinarily competent, business-like, and ambitious. It’s all very confusing! 
Sorry, I have been ignoring this thread because who gives a shit what Meryl Streep says, but what onerous conditions has ACA created for doctors? AFAICT the thing that doctors are bitching the most about these days is all the recordkeeping that they require. I don’t get the impression that the ACA is forcing insurance companies to pay them less or anything.
I know one older doctor who quit because he can’t really make the money he makes when his patients don’t have insurance (which was most of his patients) and he can charge $100 for a check up rather than the co pay and the $30 that insurance companies pay him. But that’s just insurance generally not the ACA.

OP here…I hate to quote myself, but I wish to pit myself for some things I wrote. By the way, somebody VERY close to me dropped dead on January 8 and that is why I haven’t responded earlier.
When I say “play-actors” I think it is because I heard that on an episode of the Beverly Hillbillies when Jethro wanted to be a movie star and that’s what Granny and Jed called acting. (LOOK AT THIS ASSHOLE, HE WATCHED THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES AND WANTS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY) I always thought that was funny (that and the CE-ment pond, but that is just me.
I will watch movies and actually think " damn, if that was me and it was a long scene and there were extras and lighting and a crazy director and producers worrying about money, I would freeze and fuck up every take."
So I actually DO respect actor’s talent and their craft, although I still contend that there are MANY good actors, many more than good writers, producers and directors. I watch Airline disaster recreations online and the actors on those are so real that you think you are watching the ACTUAL event.
And as I already stated, I believe Meryl Streep is ONE of the best and always enjoyed her films. (but Gary Oldman transcends acting in my egotis…errr humble opinion)

I absolutely agree that Streep and anybody else has the right to state political opinions and I WELCOME them. I DESPISE Cheneybush and loved it when anybody would rip into those war criminals. I also DESPISE Obama for signing into law the Indefinite Detention Act which Trump now has the power to enforce.
And YES, I absolutely believe that Trump (who IS a thin skinned egomaniacal twitter addict) MAY have mocked the partially disabled reporter for getting caught in a lie, NOT FOR HIS DISABILITY).
At first I was disgusted by him doing that, but I saw that video online after somebody pointed it out to me, and it APPEARS to ME (I could be wrong) that he has done it more than once PREVIOUSLY about others GETTING CAUGHT IN FALSEHOODS.
I admit, he is CAPABLE of doing that, but I BELIEVE, (from the evidence of that video) that in THIS case, he was mocking a nervous person being called out for a falsehood.
By the way, I swear he must have watched Beavis and Butthead and is copying the Principal, who the boys would drive crazy. (OH SHIT, HE WATCHES BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD TOO, WHAT AN ASSHAT FUCKTARD)
So I didn’t like Meryl Streep (who never says a word about Juanita Broderick and who applauded child rapist Roman Polanski) getting up there and talks about him mocking the report FOR HIS DISABILITY without knowing the full story.
Again, she has every right to do so, but I think that she was wrong, because it seems as if he has used the same gesture before.
And for the record, I DO NOT watch those award shows, including the Oscars anymore. I used to watch the Oscars RELIGIOUSLY, but now see them for the bullshit that they are, just a way to promote the business, not awarding “ARTISTS” (or Gary Oldman would have at least 10 of them).
From now on, I promise not to go off half cocked when I PIT somebody and I will try to make myself clearer.
And like I said in the OP, Trump may turn out to be a complete disaster, but at least he has stirred things up in BOTH parties and woken everybody up!

Considering Trump’s record of childishly insulting anyone and everyone, for physical flaws as well as any others, as well as his routine dishonesty, why on earth would you accept his explanation as the truth?
I apologized for that hyperbole and wrote that I couldn’t do it without fucking it up (unless they threw 5 million at me, then I’ll bet most people could do it, except COMEDIC actors, THAT is a very rare talent…ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT)
Because he SEEMS to have done it more than once before, there is video evidence of him doing it before. I stated that he is CAPABLE of that bullshit when insulted, but IN THIS CASE, he may have been mocking him as somebody getting caught in a lie, not for his disability.
But again, I MAY BE WRONG, but I have to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
That he thought it was acceptable to refer to anyone in such a manner is appalling and the fact that he didn’t even have the decency to consider the implications of his mocking given the reporter’s known disability only further drives home how unfit and unthinking Trump is.
