Hey meryl streep, you are a play-actor, nothing more

You don’t have to give the benefit of the doubt to him. You choose to, and I’m curious as to why, considering his record of assholery and dishonesty.

Apparently, from what I have read, AND I COULD BE WRONG, he didn’t even remember the guy’s disability and, again, he has mocked OTHERS in the same way.

And as fucked up and immature as Trump can be, maybe in his mind, if he even remembered the guy having a disability, he treated him the same way he treated the others who he mocked that way.

BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG.

OF COURSE I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. If I didn’t, I would then have to believe any crazy thing thrown at him without questioning it.

Trump is NOT Satan, although he probably has him on speed dial.

Good Lord you are tiresome.

What if Trump shot him on 5th Avenue, and there were witnesses… would you still give Trump the benefit of the doubt?

I’m guessing you wouldn’t. I just want to establish the limits for your magnanimity.

Am I missing something or is Trump not mocking disabled people every time he makes that gesture? It’s ok to mock disabled people as long as you do it a lot? It’s ok to mock disabled people in front of hundreds or thousands of people as long as you can’t remember that the person you’re directly speaking to is disabled?

of course I would, I would blame the guy for being in the way of the bullet.

yes, you ARE missing something. It is an exaggeration of somebody caught in a lie, ACTING VERY NERVOUSLY. An exaggeration to make a point.

No you wouldn’t – you could believe, or at least suspect truth, in the allegations that just so happen to perfectly match the video evidence (along with matching his past behavior), while being very skeptical of any allegations with no evidence.

Then stop reading this post. Simple, even you can do it.

So why waste everybody’s time with the “I MIGHT BE WRONG” bullshit?

Coyness is a poor substitute for cleverness. Wave your Trump freak flag high. You’re part of a very large, very stupid minority.

I’m sorry, I don’t really understand what you are trying to say. I really don’t. Did we watch the same video of him??

I AM skeptical too, that is why I want to know what he is ACTUALLY doing or saying. Not what people perceive him doing.

By the way, did you hear about the MLK bust “fake” news?

But, the problem is that it wasn’t Serge Kovaleski that was caught in a lie here.

CMC fnord!

This is different than “giving him the benefit of the doubt”.

Yes – a reporter made a mistake, his mistake was identified, and he apologized and retracted his mistaken story.

Admit it. You love watching that video so much that you’ve got it on endless loop play.

Trump Debate Tip #6: When losing an argument, obviously change the subject to something completely unrelated.

And there is a huge difference between an honest mistake (which is what this reporter made) and deliberate fake news.

sorry, your link isn’t working…please repost…thanks!

yes, he DID retract, but why didn’t he simply do a little more investigation before tweeting that out.

When they do this or keep saying he mocked the guy for his disability when it IS possible that in fact he didn’t , then Trump and his people can point to erroneous accounts and deflect questions about ACTUAL shit he is doing.

Just like people going racial on Obama, it weakened their arguments when they had an actual problem with him.

As in: the boy who cried wolf

a REAL journalist would have investigated it a bit more, this guy didn’t. And in the end it actually helps Trump, who can just claim more "fake " news even when it isn’t.

Why didn’t he do more investigation? Because in today’s world, it’s more important to be first than to be correct. Decades ago, reporters wrote an article carefully over hours for publication in tomorrow’s newspaper. Today, everyone is reporting online, almost instantly.
