Just to let any of you who would buy them all anyways know:
I bought the Muppet DVDs through Time-Life, but I simply paid for them in one bulk shot and had the entire collection sent to me at once.
I forget the numbers now, but it actually worked out to be substantially cheaper than getting them one-by-one (I think they had a discount for getting them all together, but I forget the details now.)
So if you really want them all anyways, price them out through Time-Life.
They’re not overtly labeled as such, but Harry Belafonte is on the third one- the only place volume numbers appear are on the spine of the DVD case in really small numbers at the bottom.
The Harry Belefonte is the best performence on the show ever.
I would also like to see Zero Mostel and ( don’t judge tooo fast)
Roy Clark. It had the funniest Pigs in space ever.
I’ll wait for the Mac Davis ep. Why? It’s the ep where Beaker got caught up in some sort of copier invented by Prof. Bunsen Honeydew. There were dozens of Beakers everywhere. In fact, the entire band was replaced by Beakers for the end credits.
smoke: Thanks for the tip. Roadwalker Completely agree about the quality of the Harry Belafonte performance – I only saw it twice in my preteen days and I’d love to be able to show it to my classroom students sometime this year, possibly during Black History Month.
