If you’re looking for something to do, might I suggest a trip to Tribeca Rock Club ( 16 Warren Street, 1 Block south of
Chambers Street, between Church & Broadway. ) to see Mary Prankster? She’s opening for some G&R coverband ( Mr. Brownstone ) that I know noting about, but I promise you one thing: MP rocks. She is the best lyricist to come out of Baltimore since Frank Zappa, and her songs absolutely kick ass. I can’t wait until she’s back in the Mid Atlantic so I can see her show again. If you get a chance, go, you won’t regret it.
Oy… I can’t drag myself out with all this snowy/slushy junk on the ground. Call me a wuss if you like, but I like my travel as hassle-free as possible.
