Hey Packer Fans, how do you feel?

Hey, I RESENT that last remark!!

Shit yeah they should concede losses to my Lions!

I can’t wait to watch my boyfriend Brian Urlacher level Mr. Favre YET again, and watch Favre whine for a flag where no flag is necessary.

It’s stuff like that that makes my season

If I were a Packers fan (I’m not) I think I’d be happy.

Is it absolutely impossible that Farve responds to all this (“He’s Done”/He’s a dope" “He’s a bad bad man” stuff), that the Packers luck out in the Draft* and schedule and injuries and sneak into the playoffs? No. Unlikley, ‘The Cheesheads are Dreamin’? Yep. I*mpossible? * No.

Is a wildcard berth impossible to imagine at this point w/o Farve? Yep.

Downside: Its not like they are passing on the next Elway (unless you think whichever 1-2 of the Big 3 QB’s who are still them for them tommorow will be Elway jr) - I doubt it.

*Alot will depend of course on the Javon Walker trade, on if they take Vernon Davis (UMD in the House) or if Ferguson happens to slip to them or if they DO take Hawk - he could be stud right away.

Sooooo…a nice calm question to get opinions on what Packers fans think of another year from The Great One, huh? :dubious:

Did you see the winking smilie at the end? I didn’t say I was going to suck favre off all thread long.

Ease up.

As a Vikings fan I agree with NurseCarmen. Favre is done as a player. He doesn’t like the contact anymore, he can’t make the throws he used to make, his legs aren’t the same and he’s still just as undisciplined as he ever was. He’s going to throw a lot of picks again and the clock has got to run out sooner or later on his starting streak. I predict that this will be the first year that he misses a game (maybe multiple games) for an injury. That’s all good for the Purple.

I’ll just point out that it’s been nearly 5 years since Urlacher sacked Favre. That’s what I love about Bears fans: their delusions of grandeur make the painful times so much more enjoyable.

I’m pretty sure the BEARS have sacked Favre several times in the past five years, last year in particular, and I could have sworn Urlacher either hurried him or fully knocked him down. I concede I may be wrong. I could have been blinded by our winning streak.

This give Rodgers another year to study under Favre. After two years of watching the master perform Rodgers should really gain some insight on what it takes to force the ball into coverage, have unrealistic faith in his throws, show zero patience, act like a prima-donna in front of the media and call the shots in the organization.

Of course that presumes that Green Bay’s O.L. keeps Favre alive for 16 weeks, which seems dubious, but hey he made it last year.
