Nah, he was just pimpin.
Is that why we’re down to one Pink Panther? The rest were made into insulation? Oh, the humanity.
Ummm, are you sure?
I never got a vibe that the Pink Panther was gay.
Now Bugs Bunny, I’ve known he was gay since I first understood what gay was.
He did like to dress up like a lady bunny and flirt with Yosemite Sam.
Well, he did have the ass for it.
Did you look at the picture in my OP?
Wow, those are over the top!
But that’s just a lady, out doing* lady *things…
I don’t know if Bugs was gay, but he definitely enjoyed cross-dressing :dubious:
Heh. I remember that show. The Pink Panter typically appeared only briefly, and still didn’t talk, but the boys did. I don’t remember if the boys had a mother around, but I vaguely recall some sort of female authority figure.
Wasn’t “The Pink Panther” originally a diamond?
Stop that. You’re being silly.
Now, I must point out that Snagglepuss is theatrical, which does not necessarily mean he is gay. But I wouldn’t bet against it.
Did anybody else hear this in your heads as though Fat Albert said it?
'Hey-HEY-HHEEEYYY!!! Is the Pink Panther GAAAYY?!?"
Q: Where did he get the clothes?
A: Dead aunt, dead aunt, dead aunt dead aunt dead aunt dead aunt dead auuuuuuuunt…
Major bump. I’m the OP from 10 years ago. People must be clicking on the link in the OP because our (relatively) new forum software is telling me that people are clicking on it. I don’t remember the image it linked to, so I’m going to include this image.
I loved the Pink Panther cartoons. And then that silly Blue Aardvark too. And I learned just now that the aardvark was voiced by John Byner (born 1938 and apparently still with us!).
IIRC both the Ant and the Aardvark were voiced by John Byner, although the Aardvark was done in a Jackie Mason style voice and the Ant was probably closer to Byner’s actual voice.
The wikipedia article claims that Byner was imitating Dean Martin for the Ant’s voice. Personally, I thought he sounded more like Ron Glass. But, I was in elementary school at the time.
