Sadly this applies to me but I will endeavor to do my best, as the man said. (and I know y’all get that reference)
So, without further adieu, let the examination begin.
Asterix or Tintin - Tintin but merely because I have the entire collection and greatly enjoyed sharing them with my kids. Asterix just wasn’t available in the US back then although I loved him when I was a kid in Europe.
Coke or Pepsi - Meh. I don’t care for colas. Coke if I must but I couldn’t tell the difference.
Traditional or Simplified - Traditional
North or South - Born South, raised North so North.
Rural or Urban - Rural for the climate but Urban for the company
Red or Green - I’m colorblind (not really, I just missed the question. Please keep that squid away)
Cats or dogs - Dogs. But I have had many cats as well and enjoy their attitude.
Wet or dry - Is the question how do I want to be hung back up?
Mac or Windows - Windows until this latest version designed by an inhabitant of the ninth level of Hell.
Simplistic black and white or complex real world shades of grey - Complex so long as there aren’t anywhere near fifty of those shades. I did ask you to keep that damn squid away didn’t I?
That is cool. Exposure to other languages and cultures is good on many levels so seriously, kudos to you as it isn’t your native tongue.
I struggle in a few different languages but at least my kids are fluent in more than one. I knew someone would understand my user name pretty quickly. Sorry there isn’t a prize.
I’m still hoping to avoid the squid.
What is it lately with this trend of new posters…posting in the correct forum, using full sentences with proper grammar and punctuation, the OP even snuck in a Monty Python reference when he thought nobody was looking! There’s something fishy going on here, I can just feel it.
Welcome, Uhib…if that is in fact your real name (which I suspect it’s not), but there is one more question that must be asked:
Kirk or Picard - Kirk. (That wasn’t really a question was it? It was a trick, right?)
SW or ST - Not that much into either but gotta give the nod to ST just from happy youthful memories. Kirk set the bar high for budding adolescents.
Gandalf or Dumbledore - Gandalf. I even had a cat (grey of course) named Gandalf back in the day. Never felt the need to name anything Dumbledore.
Homer or Peter - Homer. No seriously. I can identify.
Washington or Lincoln - Washington. I admire Lincoln too but Washington is still the top guy in my view. It helps that we’ve got more time and distance.
Which Doctor - The one who told me Ooh Eeh Ooh Aah Aah, Ting Tang Wala Wala Bing Bang? OK, sorry. Tom Baker.
Chefguy - Sorry about that. I will try to do better.
Elendil’s Heir - Thanks. I’m not really but I play one on TV.
Carnut - He’s quite entertaining isn’t he? Both of them.
**Musicat **- Indeed. I now try to live by the words of my Granny who said it’s never too late to have a happy childhood.
iiandyiiii - Thanks. I think I will like it here.
mortal wombat - No worries, you can have mine. You may have to fight Chefguy for the squid however. He seems a bit fond of it. A Walrus and the Carpenter thing no doubt. Hope you like calimari.
