The Pit is not for “civil discussions”, though occasionally they happen incidentally. The Pit is the place to point out things like plagiarism and cowardice, both of which you have engaged in multiple times in your posts. If you want people to treat you civilly, then you should start behaving civilly yourself – that means (at the very least) admitting that you plagiarized multiple times and apologizing for it without reservation or excuse. That means not making excuses for the inexcusable things Trump has said or done, like years of evidence-free racist lies about Obama. It doesn’t mean you have to stop being conservative, or even stop supporting Trump in general.
If you do that, I’d be happy to treat you civilly, as I would treat any other civil coward. Now if you don’t want to be treated like a gutless coward, then you’ll stop advocating for putting other Americans in harm’s way when you’re not willing to share the risk personally.
I know that the BBQ Pit isn’t for civility, it expressly allows personal attacks. However I think it is ironic for you to lecture me on civility, considering how many times you called me a gutless coward whenever you got the chance
I treat civil people civilly. I treat unrepentant plagiarists and gutless cowards uncivilly. Not everyone deserves civility.
I’m still willing to be civil to you on the off chance that you start behaving civilly. I’ll even knock of the gutless coward stuff if you show me that it’s not true.
This thread reminds me of how unfortunate it is that widespread use of the internet was fairly new when I turned 19 and that the sites I graced with my brilliant opinions and public statements no longer exist. It’s a damn shame.
The Communist Party USA did not endorse a candidate. They urged their follower (I need a cite that they have more than one) to vote against Trump. Even in the statement, Clinton’s name is only used twice: once in reference to the “lock her up” chant and once in reference to the “demonizing” of her.
I don’t think that statement constitutes an endorsement.
So, Ckalli, let me tell you a couple of things I’ve learned over the years. First of all, if you ever use a number to prove that you are “a man” then you aren’t. It’s not about the years, it’s about the mileage.
Secondly, if you are advocating military actions while refusing to risk your own precious little life … yeah, that qualifies you as a gutless coward. Especially since you’re not refusing to serve out of some higher moral calling, but sheer gutless self preservation.
And finally, before you dismiss this advice as just the rant of another “lib-tard,” I’ll point out that I am a radical anarchist who thinks both sides are idiots for fiddling while Rome burns. I do like your moxie though, so I do hope you hang around FWIW.
I’m totally stealing that line for my next set of business cards, and I’m kinda tempted now to change my username to Chaos Monkey.
Missed this, and wanted to point out the incredibly obvious. Of course they would. The best trolls are 80-90% sincere. They seem reasonable, open to change, and just don’t quite understand what the point of the argument is. Much like you are coming across here, amazingly enough. Only the dumb trolls go full retard.
So you’re saying 2% of the fucktards here are smarter than this kid? Which fucktards would that be specifically, just so I know which fucktards are smarter than an honest-to-goodness honor student?
And do you consider all the people that post on the Dope fucktards, or is “fucktard” a subset of the whole?
No shit. You won’t go away, you could probably post honestly regarding politics but don’t because the facts do not lean your way, and you’re neither normal nor interesting.
There’s a small desk plaque I got from Disney Land about 45 years ago. It says “I know all the answers. Its the questions I don’t understand.”
Then there’s like I told my niece and nephew, each upon their graduation from High School: “You think you know everything, because you know everything about your world. But your world is this big (hands to basketball size). The real world is the size of this planet and you’ll never know everything.”
