Hi, My Name is Kelli...I watch cartoons.

Ophanim, sorry, the accepted nomenclature for quite some time has been cryogenics, sorry. And, again, I must apologize, sorry, for contradicting you, sorry.

I like anime.

I like some cartoons. I’d like batman and superman more if they were more gory. Hell, what’s the point of being invincible if you can’t fry someone’s genitalia with your x-ray vision (if I had a superpower I would SO abuse it).

I sold my soul to Satan for a dollar. I got it in the mail.

gotta love cartoons!!

i watch Simpsons and Futurama regularly, they are my favorite shows on tv!

King of the Hill is great.
i also like spiderman, batman, the tick, and any other comicbook superhero cartoon.

Woo Hoo

Does anyone remember “Sky Hawks” about 1969 or so? for an aviation buff it was heaven on earth.

Geez, take one day away from the computer, and another support group springs up. A good one, though.

:::ahem:::

My name is Cristi, and I am a cartoon junkie.

(everyone: Hi Cristi!)

There. I feel much better now.

My favorite is Bugs. The Bunny rules. But I have a bizarre addiction to the really cheesy superhero cartoons of the sixties & seventies. Not Batman or even the Superfriends. You know what I’m talking about here. Birdman. SpaceGhost (before he got the talk show). Thundarr. Those kind.

I also like the current crop of Nick Toons. Hey Arnold and Spongebob Squarepants are particular favorites. The only one I’m not really in to is Rocket Power.

I don’t much care for anime. It’s well-drawn, but I like my cartoons light. Not a bunch of heavy drama.

Did anyone here watch Cartoon Planet on the Cartoon Network? Oh man. That was the funniest flippin’ thing on TV for a while. I’ve got to get the SpaceGhost CD’s. The songs were an absolute riot. And did anyone catch Brak presents The Brak Show starring Brak? I saw the first show, and thought it was pretty funny. But Zorak…well, Zorak is my deity.

Whoops. Don’t know what happened to the italics there. Sorry!

I must confess that I also watch cartoons, even when the kids aren’t. I like the Cartoon Network cartoons (Dexter’s Lab, I am Weasel, Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, etc). I also like the new Batman and Superman Adventures, Batman Beyond, and (hanging head in shame) Pokemon. I also love some of the older cartoons, like Looney Toons/Merry Melodies, Popeye, Scooby-Doo, Mickey Mouse and the gang, and a bunch others.

“The dead have risen, and they’re voting Republican!” - Bart Simpson

I got hooked on Dragonball Z when Comedy Central had a few hours in two days devoted to The Tree of Might and another Dragonball Z “movie” (I can’t remember the name). Those movies are much better than the episodes.

It was ALL G.I. Joe and Transformers in my younger days. Too bad they don’t really come on anymore (no Beastwars).

Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes will always be the best cartoons of all time.

Does Heavy Metal count? Is that a caroon or a movie? Or “a step beyond science fiction, louder and nastier than ever”?

You say “cheesy” like that’s a BAD thing.

Thanks, Seale! I appreciate it!

UGH. I hate the “kids” version of ANYTHING. I vote that whoever came up with that idea is strangled, cut into pieces, and dissolved in acid! Oh, wait. Wrong thread for that one. I vote for torture by being forced to listen to Kenny G for hours on end. Unless they like Kenny G (likely, since they thought of those gay cartoons), in which case they have to listen to Iron Maiden and Suicidal Tendencies nonstop.

the only exception being Tiny Toons, which isn’t really the same thing. It’s a “next generation” thing.
