Good for all of you taking AP classes in high school. They were so much fun and such a help for me (I’m entering college with 27 credit hours because of them).
Freshman in college, with very boring, freshman-like classes:
French 101
Math 101
Freshman Seminar
Physics 101 + Lab
Major British Writers
Animal Physiology
Advanced Research (senior thesis work)
Physics II (yuck, but requirement for vet school)
Biochemistry (see above)
Toning (P.E.)
It looks like I will be living in the science building this semester. Also, I have no classes on Fridays for the whole semester, and no classes on Mondays either after Fall break.

psychology 101

my honors core class (at my university, the honors college has a separate core curriculum…instead of taking basic English and history and such, the honors students take 3 semesters of the honors core…we’ll see how it goes)
I’m looking forward to this year, though I wish the magical packing fairies would take it upon themselves to finish up everything I need to do before I leave for school.
Operating Systems
System Analysis & Design
Computer Apps in Statistics
Mgt & Behavioral Sciences
Trying to get into either Programming Languages or Database Implementation Applications to round out the semester, but they’re both full right now. I’m hoping someone will drop.
As an IB Graduate c/o 2002 I wish you the best of luck this year!!! I loved Theory Of Knowledge. It’s the best class because it’s all a circle of b/s. I highly recommend you pay attention this year, which I am probably sure you already know, because the exams at the end of the year are no joke. But you’ll more than likely pass and it will all be good, and could quite possible pay off big for you!
My schedule for this upcoming semester (College Junior)
-Legal Environment for Business 8-9:15 AM
-Business Calc 9:30-10:45 (I messed around and never took this -class so I’m having to play catch up)
-Organizational Behavior 12-1:15 PM
-Basic Marketing Concepts 6-7:45 PM
-Psychology of Women 8-9:15 PM
All of my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Yey for me!
Calculus SL IB
Chemistry SL IB (second year)
20th Century History HL IB
English HL IB
Philosophy HL IB (second year)
Spanish 5 - this would be an IB course, but I finished all my Spanish testing last year
Theory of Knowledge IB
There’s a few other random things that show up on my transcript, like mock trial and debate, but that’s pretty much it for real classes (thank God).
Of course, if I was only interested in listing real classes, why did I list TOK?
Wow, I feel like such a wuss compared to y’all. I’m in my last year of community college before transferring to a university and this is–most likely–my schedule for the semester. Fall term doesn’t start until the very end of September, so registration isn’t even possible yet!
Spanish 201 (2nd year, term 1) MWTR
English 104 (Intro to Fiction) TR
General Biology 102 (Evolution, genetics, etc.) MF lecture, W lab
History 112 (History of World Civilization, 1800-present) MWF
Maybe I should think about another class, though I’m not sure if the budget could support that.
And I don’t miss high school at all! I’m actually feeling antsy–I have a really long summer, and though people often exclaim about how lucky I am, I’m definitely starting to look forward to my classes.
gloat My earliest class is 10:30 most of the week–on Friday, it’s at 1:30. I’m not a morning person.
Elementary Italian I
Introduction to Dramatic Literature
Introduction to Performing Literature
College Algebra
Media Writing - Honors
I didn’t test out of any hours of German, so I decided to try something different–a romantic language (in both senses of the word “romantic”). Media Writing is the class I have to take (and make a B or better in) to be accepted into the Mass Communications program.
College freshman checking in. I took a lot of college classes/AP credit in high school and now I pay by having to force in a lot of general ed. requirements into my first semester. Too many bland, generic things, but it doesn’t seem too awful.
Tuesday/Thursday
Voice and Applied Speaking 8:00-9:15
Intro to American Government 11:00-12:15
Fundamentals of Script Analysis 1:00-2:15
Lots of gaps in there, but I still get out relatively early.
Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Early United States History 8:00-8:50
Critical Reading and Writing 10:00-10:50
And then there’s the absolutely pointless University & Your Future class that I shudder to think about. sigh
Anthropology 468: Sex, Evolution and Natural Selection
Music 151: Fundamentals of Music
Music 161: Class Piano (Mass piano lessons for beginners.)
Music 211: Viola Lessons
Music 434: Symphony Orchestra
PE 120: American Social Dance
Psychology 312 (+ lab section): Experimental Methods in Psychology
Psychology 390: Operant Behavior
Quantitative Analysis (Analytical Chemistry) with lab
Organic Evolution with lab
Microbiology with lab
Physics with lab
University Scholars Research Project
And on the fluffy side…yoga!
I really need the yoga to balance out all the labs…I’m registered for 18 hours, but actually I’m in class for 26 - provided no classes/labs/project discussions go over (and of course they will). Oh yes, and I’m supposed to study somewhere in there too…
Advanced Creative Writing (directed Study)
Advanced Writing for the English Major
The Horror Novel
Core 320: Gender and Sexuality Issues
Honors Seminar: Intro to the 21st Century
