Calculus II
Physics (calculus based)
Human geography (to fulfill a gen. ed .req.)
My structural geology class was cancelled due to low enrollment :(. I still need to take it, it will have to wait until next year. I can’t find any other classes to fit into my schedule to replace that cancellation, so I’m sticking with just 12 credits this semester.
sigh because of some difficulties last quarter that led to withdrawing from school and instant-ish readmission, I don’t have my classes yet. I’ll get back to you tomorrow or Wednesday after my pass time though!
And what is human geography exactly? Like demographics and population patterns?
History of Central American Architecture
History of American Urban Life
Role of the Environment on Ancient Society
History of the American Skyscraper
Logic and Proofs
Volleyball
There was supposed to be a CAD class in there but my section was cancelled.
My last semester! Finally I will be out of this godawful degree… and into the godawful world of CS related employment (no offense meant to those who enjoy it). sigh I really can’t wait until I get my masters.
I took 2 short classes over the summer after deciding last spring that I should start going to school now that my kids are older and I have more free personal time.
This fall I’ve got 3 short classes and work experience. Right now I’ve got just one class on Monday nights. (School started last week.)
My schedule: Wine Component Tasting Professional Wine Judging Sonoma County Appellations
And 4 units of Work Experience
Hardly mind-bending classes, but I’m now (finally) slowly working on an AS with a wine major (with the long, looooong-term goal of BS, and who knows what after that if I don’t burn out) and figured I’d get the fun ones out of the way first, while I get used to actually going to school, doing homework, etc. So far so good. These classes really are interesting and they’re also helping me prepare for a few other exams in the wine world that I plan on taking in the next couple of years.
Maybe next fall I’ll start diving into the General Ed. classes. I’m really looking forward to those and just wish I had more time to take more classes in a semester.
Just one class this semester, Literary Scholarship (English 701). It starts tonight, and I’ll be leaving work in about 2 hours to head to campus.
From the syllabus (which the professor e-mailed to all of us last week):
We’re reading Frankenstein (which I’m looking forward to, because I’ve never read it before) and The Devil in the White City, and will also be using Bedford Case Studies in Contemporary Criticism and The Oxford Guide to Library Research.
Basically, I expect to spend most of my weekends this semester in the library.
Honours project
Internship
One yet-to-be-determined workshop, probably online or television.
I’m entering my fourth year as a journalism student, and this year is nothing like any of the others. The reason my workshop hasn’t been decided yet (as with my two next semester) is because what ones are offered when depends on student interest.
Week and a half left–and then I’ll have anime club and high speed internet again, woohoo!
Resources and Information Services in Professions and Disciplines – [Library] Resources for GLBT Patrons
Advanced Information Resources and Services [AKA How to be a really good Reference Librarian]
Information Technology Tools and Applications [AKA Crash Course Web Design]
I’m nervous about the last one, and yet really looking forward to finally learning how to design a webpage already!
I added a History major to my Poli Sci major a quarter or so ago, so I’m making up some basics in that area.
History 202- Western Civ 1
History 206- Western Civ 3
Poli Sci 304- International Relations
Religious Studies 377- New Testament Greek
I find it hilarious that my school never offers History 204-- so, apparently, it’s not important that I know about that period. I’m looking forward to the RS 377 class, which will go over the basics Greek and how to read the New Tetament in it. Woo!
Is this just for undergrad or does this count for Grad/PhD students too?
CS 681 - Designing Expert Systems
CS 706 - Concurrent Software Systems
CS 803 - Doctoral Tutorial in Information Technology (I think its on computational vision, based on the professor).
BTW, yes, I realize I’m completely out of my mind.
Y’all are making me so jealous. I miss college. I miss school. I miss sitting down with a timetable and various schedules and working out the perfect semester, then mapping my day (can I get across campus in 10 minutes, etc).
I might take an online medical terminology class this semester on my way to another degree, but that depends on getting a job sometime soon.
