Man, me’n Tripler would be tickled to get to meet you; the Fanfest starts at 2pm, says SCL, maybe we could sneak out and meet up for a cordial or three! PM me or Trip, we’ll hook up.
The plans for the FanFest are still in the works, but I do know there will be a band and grilled hotdogs. If anyone wants to bring a grill that is not a problem. Plenty of greenspace to spread out lawn chairs and libations. (I had hot chocolate and coconut rum at the last one…) Sampiro - you simply must come! It’s going to be covered for the “Redneck Olympics!”
We are currently sitting in first place, and I think it would take a major bus accident to keep us from making the playoffs. Dates for the playoffs haven’t been set yet.
I can’t slip out for a drink before because I have to do some Booster Club stuff - moninoring Redneck Olympics competitions most likely. I will have a cooler with some sort of adult beverages close at hand. Most likely involving coconut rum and pineapple juice.
Oddly enough, I could’ve gotten a free flight to Columbus a couple of months ago, but no longer. Wish I could go!
SCL, what do they do for 5.5 hours? That’s a long time to be a festive fan.
I’m not sure why they are starting it so early this year; last year it started at 4. Tomorrow night at the game I should be able to talk to the Asst. GM and get some more information.
And of course you don’t have to get there that early! I’m planning on trying to get my Booster Club responsibilities over with early so I can have fun the rest of the afternoon.

If ya’ll haven’t already ordered tickets, better do so! I got a report that there are only about 300 tickets left for the 17th. A local hospital bought up a bunch of tickets; they may return the ones they don’t use but you never know.

I wish! But Dear Robert’s going to be in Denver most of the week, getting back late on Friday. He’ll have to play catch-up back at the store on Saturday.

We had a great time last night! We did get back to the house, and found me house is okay–there was apparently nothing wrong. Strangely, one of the interior motion sensors went off and tripped the alarm. Weird. . .

I swear I posted last night saying how glad I was to meet all of you, and how glad I was that the Snakes showed ya’ll a good game. Glad the house thing was no big deal, Tripler - I’ll post the playoff dates as soon as I know them.
Sorry you and DearRobert had other goings-on with his travel and such. We hope to get back for the playoffs, so maybe it’ll work out that we can meet!
