HOCKEY!! YAY HOORAY!!

At last, a sport that Pittsburgh actually has a CHANCE in this season! So far, two home games out of the way, and despite having just gotten back from Japan two days ago, the Pens have won em both, and quite nicely, too. Jager had FOUR goals last night!

Alas, I was not there, and was forced to sit praying before my shrine to the great one, LeMieux himself, whose autograph is the centerpiece, and who now owns the teams!

I’m so happy! Go 'Guins n’at!

I’m still upset the Senators beat my Devils.

I am a Devil worshipper, and yes, I tell girls that.

Tripler
#15, Johnny Mac, won’t you please come back…

Y’all realize that there is only one truly great hockey team in this great land of ours (well, IMHO at least). Although they choked against Edmonton last week, I still have much faith in my Detroit Red Wings.

Go Oilers Go!

C-A-P-S, CAPS CAPS CAPS!

At least Olie the Goalie’s back now…

Minnesota, after a long hiatus, has a team this year: the Wild. Ought to be interesting. My favorite part has always been the Zamboni.

Let’s go Redwings!

As a former resident of Ottawa during my University days, all I can say is go Sens!!!.
Keith

Fruitless though it may be, I must continue to chant my mantra–Go Sabres! Go Sabres! Go Sabres!

FYI… the Dead Wings choked up twice in less than two weeks against the Oilers.

What Sue said.

But the Redwings are so pretty! Its almost like having class in hockey!

Right on, Jester!

Go Pens!

but they got three goals!

“The” team is looking great this yr. The Sedin twins seem to be working out…this yr, we go all the way!!!

I spent nearly 7 hours at our local rink yesterday. I was on location in the morning, and my boy had a game in the afternoon.
He scored 2 goals and got 2 assists. We won, 13-3. Pee Wee Super League…what a blast!!

May I point out that the EDMONTON OILERS are leading the league in points right now?

Yee-Haw.

Sam… point it out all you want to.

The only thing better than the Oilers leading the league would be to have the Habs leading the league.

At least they whupped the Oilers.

I better explain…

I am a lifelong Habs fanatic but am compelled to root for our hometown boys who are doing great on a shoestring budget and a ton of heart. How can I not cheer them on. Just as long as they aren’t playing the Habs it’s GO Oilers!

Let me be the first to second this.

Although, all the way may be a bit optimistic, I myself am just praying they make the playoffs this year (ohpleaseohpleaseohplease…)

And congrats on your son’s game, if I may say so. IMHO, hockey gets better the farther you go down the ladder. I saw a very good BCHL game the other night. 6-3 for the home team (Spruce Kings) and over 460 penalty minutes assigned. It doesn’t get any better. [/hijack]

Continuing slight hijack. I agree. I have season tickets to our WPHL team down here and it’s always good hockey. They haven’t won yet this year, but hey, it’s still entertaining.

Back on subject. Stars! Stars! Stars! Although off to a rough start, we have a better team than last year. Time to bring the cup back.

…aren’t you guys fogetin THE BLUES!!!
Who wooped the queens 7-1 last night…the slovak line is d shit!

Just a small reminder to fans of the Blues and the Sens (and 'Yotes, if there are any here)…winning in October means jack squat in the NHL. If you’re still winning games in May then talk to me. GO STARS!!!
